The mosquito-borne Zika virus is linked with a birth defect that results in babies being born with heads smaller than normal. There is no vaccine or treatment, as many affected countries are asking women not to get pregnant for the next two years. The virus has affected 21 countries including Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Barbados, Puerto Rico, Portugal and is now been detected in Denmark.

Due to the ongoing Zika virus outbreak, airlines are now starting to offer refunds to passengers who have booked flights to the countries impacted by the virus.
