NNPC workers call off strike after meeting with managing director

National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) workers have called off the strike they embarked on after Ibe Kachikwu, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, announced that NNPC would be divided into 7 divisions. The oil workers are said to have called off the strike after meeting with Kachikwu. NNPC made the statement via Twitter saying, “Sequel to exhaustive deliberations between our GMD and GEC of PENGASSAN and NUPENG, the corporate-wide strike has been suspended.”
