Former Ferrari chairman Luca di Montezemolo, admitted on Thursday that he did not have “good news” regarding the condition of stricken Formula One legend Michael Schumacher. Schumacher is still receiving treatment at his home in Switzerland following head injuries he suffered in a skiing accident in the French Alps in December 2013.
“I get news about him constantly, and unfortunately it’s not good,” Di Montezemolo said when asked about Schumacher in Milan on Thursday.
“He only suffered one accident in his entire career, in 1999, and it was our fault, not his.
‘He was a great driver and we shared a great personal and professional relationship, we also had the pleasure of having our children at similar times. “Unfortunately, a skiing accident ruined his life.”
