Ese Oruru and her abductor, Yinusa have arrived at the force headquarters, Abuja. They were brought in by armed policemen from Zone 1 headquarters, Kano some minutes ago.
The Force Public Relations Officer, Olabisi Kolawole, confirmed that Ese was being kept in a waiting room, pending the arrival of her mother from Yenogoa, Bayelsa State.
She explained that mother and daughter would be re-united as soon as the woman arrives the police headquarters.
“Ese is here with us at the force headquarters. We are waiting for the mother’s arrival. She is presently on her way from Yenagoa and both mother and daughter will be re-united soon,” she said over the telephone.
Kolawole, however, said journalists would not be allowed to interview Yinusa and Ese, as the girl is a minor.
On Yinusa, she said investigation has not been concluded, noting that it was too early to allow the suspect to be interviewed by journalists.
