The Catalans face a familiar foe in the form of Sevilla. Barcelona lost to Sevilla back in October 2015. Barcelona came through with blistering pace and it almost paid divided just 12minutes into regulation time, when Suarez’s shot rattled the bar. Despite Suarez’s brilliant effort earlier on, it was Sevilla who got the better of Barcelona with  a goal from Vitolo on the 20th minute mark.

That set back only proved to be a minor set back, as Barcelona went full throttle, hold nothing back. The cheer determination and astute precision in passes, yielded the dividend of a free kick. And none other than the Lionel Messi who took center stage to take the free kick, Messi  unleashed what turned out to be an outstanding free kick that drew Barcelona level, making the even with one apiece.

The goal only left Sevilla wanting more, after taking the in the 20th minute and now on the back foot, Sevilla tried to rise to the occasion, wanting to repeat the feat that occurred during the 2012/2013 season, which was the last time they had recorded a win against Barcelona.

Unfortunately, it was not meant to be. Barcelona extended their non  loosing streak to 34 games, equaling Real Madrid record.

A penny for my thought you ask? Barcelona would extend their unbeaten run even further. Mes Que Un Club.
